In order to be on the ballot for County Commissioner you either have to be rich enough to buy your way in, thousands of dollars, or you have to be able to gather 2775 signed petitions. May as well be 3000 considering that some will be rejected for one reason or another.
Well, I am not rich at all let alone rich enough to buy my way in. Please help me with your petition, and the petitions of any other people that you might know who support my being on the ballot, the more the merrier. We have a little problem here. In our party's zeal to be "inclusive", we have been including some positions that are contrary to our principles. Generally, "welfare" is a liberal democrat's dream issue. Welfare for the poor is sometimes unavoidable, but welfare for the rich is certainly not anything to support.
Welfare for the rich is still welfare.
